1. "Wheat To Bread"

Plow, harvest and then grind wheat into flour before baking fresh pita bread over an open fire. Served with Olive Oil and zaatar (hyssop).

Operate an ancient stone olive oil press and produce genuine cold-pressed olive oil from locally harvested olives.

3. "Grapes To Wine"

Galilean grapes, hand-picked from local vineyards are gathered in an ancient stone carved wine-press. Guests are urged to remove their footwear and join in the crushing of the grapes in the time-honored fashion.

Kfar-Kedem Presents: 'Galilee Night'

A program that allows visitors to the recreated Galilee village of Kfar-Kedem to experience a festive evening in the atmosphere of the ancient Galilee.
Guests will enjoy an enchanted evening in the hills of the Galilee including a feast of local food and wines with live entertainment. All guests may have the option of wearing a colorful period costume to add to the local mood.
The experienced staff of Kfar-Kedem will guide the visitors along stations describing life in the ancient Galilee.

* Olives are pressed before your eyes in a recreated ancient olive oil factory. Guests may receive individual labelled bottles of famous Galilee olive oil.
* The biblical process of turning wheat into bread is demonstrated. Guests are invited to partake of the delicious final results: fresh bread!
* Night time is milking time at our sheep pens. Guests are invited to have a "hands-on" experience.
* Taste local Galilee vintages at our wine booth and hear about the importance of the grape in the ancient Galilean economy.
* Our donkeys are made for riding. The only way to travel the ways of Kfar-Kedem is on the back of one of our fleet of user-friendly donkeys.

At the height of the evening, a grant meal will be served of local delicacies. Singers, dancers and the rest of our staff will provide entertainment beneath the Galilee stars that will last into the night.

Kfar-Kedem packs the total Galilee experience into a fun and rewarding evening that has our guests coming again and again.
